Your Violet Merchant Dashboard shows all details about your payouts and distributions for orders placed through Complex.
Distributions show the funds transferred to your bank for each order, including a breakdown of any fees.
Violet also creates a distribution for your sales channel so you can see how the funds were split for each order.
Payouts
A payout is the total amount deposited into your bank account, made up of all your distributions over a certain period (usually daily). Payouts are automatically processed by Stripe.
You can view all payouts on the Payouts Dashboard.
- Ext Payout = the payout ID from your payment provider.
- Payout ID = the Violet ID that links your distributions to that payout.
Payout Dashboard
Click into any payout to see:
- A summary of order volume, payments, refunds, and distributions related to that payout.
- The option to export payout details (with all related distributions) for your records.
Distributions
You can view distributions by clicking the Distributions tab next to Payouts.
Here’s what you’ll find:
- Ext Order: The order ID from your ecommerce store. This helps you match Violet distributions with your store’s orders.
- Amount: The total you received for that order.
Toggle Channel to view distributions made to your sales channels (usually their commission, minus processing fees). If your channel commission doesn’t cover payment provider fees, you’ll see those listed on your record.
Exports and Reports
You can export distribution reports as CSV files to view or reconcile in a spreadsheet tool.
To do this:
- Click Export.
- Follow the prompts to download your report.
